If you’re unfamiliar with Japanese yet, it’s easier to filter through job offers using English-friendly websites. Here’s a list of sites that offer English support and are easier to use for foreigners when looking for jobs in Japan.
- Tokyo Dev — http://tokyodev.com
This is both a job site and a tech blog for Software Engineers working in Japan with listings of foreign-friendly companies. They also have a discord channel for International Software Engineers in Japan, which I myself am already a part of. - LinkedIn — https://www.linkedin.com/
Arguably the most popular site at the moment for professionals to connect and look for jobs. This is not only limited to the IT field as well either. Usually, a lot of recruiters are on LinkedIn as well so there are lots of opportunities to look through job openings here. - Japan Dev — http://japandev.com
A popular job site and tech blog for Software Engineers working in Japan, this has listings of foreign-friendly (in this context, non-Japanese people) companies - Creative Tokyo — https://creativetokyo.com/jobs
Creative Tokyo is a community for Creatives in Japan. It has a job board for creative and non-creative job openings in tech.
